Nature Nature Nature !!!

We had a full day at Doi Inthanon national park which is named in honor of the last king of Chang Mai. He was concerned about the forests of northern Thailand and had asked that his remians we're placed in this park. 
At the highest point there's a little memorial for him.

We went on one of the hiking trails. We couldn't walk on the actually ground for most of the hike. As you can see in the picture much of the walk was on a raised pathway. We saw some birds and many different plants that I've never seen in the states. Unfortunately we didn't see any other animals. It was nice to get away from the city for a little bit.

After the hike we moved on to my favorite part. We sat up here for about 30 minutes and it was the most peaceful time I've had the entire trip.

Finally we went to a waterfall. This was a good spot to cool off after our adventures. There was a small trail that led to different parts and smaller waterfalls.

This was one my favorite off days!!! :)
