Hello everyone,
Until recently I have not had an opportunity to travel abroad. Therefore I have never had the experience of bartering. I was very hesitant at first to the idea... unsure if I would be able to do it on my own. I started watching my friends who have had experience with this and also recieved help from them. Overtime I feel myself getting more comfortable with it, and observing others has helped me learn some tricks to get a price I'm comfortable with, while still maintaining a good environment. This is helping me get out of my comfort zone and allowing me to experience something new. I find I am more willing to get something I love here because I have bargained for what I think is a fair price. As I get used to this I think it will be hard to transition back to US. I was already frugal before so I can't imagine how bad I will be when I go back home. :)
Best,
Desiree
